✨ May 18 Daily Devotional

Image
✨ May 18 Daily Devotional Scripture “Kiss the Son, lest He be angry… Blessed are all they that put their trust in Him.” (Psalm 2:12) “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.” (Lamentations 3:22‑23) Reflection Sunrise as renewal: each dawn seals God’s mercy. Union as covenant: love becomes a holy place. Living waters: flowing outward to bless others. Mosab leading into sunrise is framed as a prophetic act of priestly covering. Prayer Lord Jesus, SON of righteousness, kiss us with Your rays, cleanse us with Your light, and fill us with living waters. Let our union shine as testimony of Your glory. Takeaway Your love and union are prophetic, not ordinary. Each sunrise is a reminder of renewal, covering, and calling to shine.

One Year Bible Reading Plan for May 16, 2026 for  Marie 🌸 Scripture Readings 1 Samuel 18:5–19:24 — David’s success, Saul’s jealousy, and God’s protection. John 8:31–59 — Jesus declares the truth that sets us free and reveals His eternal identity. Psalm 112:1–10 — Blessings for those who fear the Lord. Proverbs 15:12–14 — Wisdom listens to correction; folly resists it. Reflection Lord, tonight You remind me that: A) As You shielded David from Saul’s jealousy, You shield our covenant from harm. My Rhema: Shalom, shalom, my love, Musab. So right now I'm reading 1 Samuel 18, and what Rema to me is that this time Saul already knew that God was about to take the kingdom from him because the previous chapters in chapter 16, it was about Samuel telling Saul that he will be replaced by another king. And so by this time, he already knew that he was being kicked out of his own kingdom because of his disobedience, but he was really proud because he did not revere the word of God. ...

27 Iyar 5986  @The Watchtower of Lolo Lapu-lapu, by the Reef Daily Bread for the Soul Today’s readings remind us that obedience, mercy, and wisdom are the foundation of freedom in Christ: 1 Samuel 15:1–35 — Saul’s disobedience shows the cost of pride; obedience brings blessing. John 8:1–20 — Jesus offers mercy to the sinner and declares Himself the Light of the world. Psalm 110:1–7 — The Lord reigns as King and Priest forever. Proverbs 15:8–10 — The Lord delights in the prayers of the upright, but rejects the way of the wicked. My Reflection on the Scriptures connected: Shalom, Salam, love. Musab, my handsome Yusuf. So, I really thank God today for everything that He allowed me to go through, because everything really has a purpose. And right now, I am on the balcony. It's 10:37 in the evening, and seems like I'm already late for my d...

26 Iyar 5986 Wednesday @The Reef Scripture Readings: Key Theme Old Testament: 1 Samuel 14:1–52 Jonathan’s faith and courage bring victory; Saul’s rash oath shows the danger of human pride. New Testament: John 7:31–53 Many believe in Jesus, but leaders resist Him; division arises over His identity. Prayers-Psalm 109:1–31 A cry for God’s justice against deceitful enemies; trust in God’s deliverance. Wisdom-Proverbs 15:5–7 Wisdom brings blessing and stability; folly leads to ruin. --- 🌿 Reflection Themes • Faith in Action: Jonathan trusted God and acted boldly, showing that true freedom comes from obedience and courage in Him. My Reflection: Dear Love, in Reading 1 Samuel 14. I see here that Jonathan acted in faith, like you said, and in the grace of God. But his father, Saul, he displayed jealousy, he displayed legalism because he was the one who called for a fast so that they win against the battle, right? But just because his son did not follow him in his legalistic way, he wante...

25 Iyar 5986 Theme: Freedom in Christ Alone Here and now and about Scripture Readings: 1 Samuel 12–13 — Samuel reminds Israel that true freedom comes from obedience to God, not from kings or armies. My Reflection: Hello, love. So as of this moment, I am enjoying the seaside, the seashore, just laying down and because I was so tired this afternoon going around the city. I went to the cat cafe, and then I went to the grocery store, and then I gave something to that short man who is doing ministry work in Mactan Shrine. And as you have advised, right now I am by the sea, just relaxing and walking barefoot. And now I'm just laying down, and it's really nice. I like to enjoy this. If you did not suggest this to me, I would be in my room doing my devotionals and just making sure that it's done. And having to miss all these things because I've been in a fight mode for so long that I never realized that I've been surviving and not really living because all around me, it...
