1 Samuel 20:1–21:15 — David and Jonathan’s covenant; David flees Saul.
My Rhema: shalom love in first samuel having devotionals right now for may 17 readings in this chapter it talks about jonathan's loyalty today with and how god really brought them together as covenant best friends you know just as god has brought us together covenant best friends and covenant partners in covenant marriage so it's such a beautiful thing that god has chosen me and chosen you and chosen as to be together and i believe that even as jonathan protected david from his own father we will protect one another from whoever that will come against you or against me this is this is how i see it because this covenant is really so special so and we thank god for this gift of covenant marriage that he is giving us okay even though for some time on 2021 we had to part ways just as david and jonathan departed ways for just the time being but god in his faithfulness brought us back together and this is the most amazing thing that even though we ourselves we try to kill what we thought was dead god has brought us back to life and i was brought back to life by you you know by your prayers for me by your love for me and it's just an amazing and wonderful testimony of his faithfulness that no matter how far we stay from god's will he will always bring about his purpose and plans because he is faithful not because we are faithful but because he is faithful okay and even though like david you have to flee many to many countries and nations because you felt unsafe because soul has been chasing you around you know the soul here is like the dragon the dragon father the dracula father that's chasing you around trying to kill you no weapon form against you will prosper because god really protects you he is hand is upon you no matter how people tried to kill you they can try to silence you but they will never stop gone from fulfilling his purpose in your life in my life and in our lives together so when you are playing love i will play with you i'll be with you i'm here with you i'll stay with you through the storms of life through sickness and health in in death in pain not even death i tell you will bring us apart because you know i always pray that if that you would always be together there's no more parting from now on love because we've been away from one another for so long for too long we've been away from one another and i believe that it's about time that god bring us together as one and wherever you go i go and wherever you die i die with you and don't worry love will not die we will be caught up caught up in the heavens because it is really our children who will continue the work that god started in us and he will fulfill it through them and so our works will rest.
so i just want to correlate that to the text in revelations 14:13 where a voice from heaven instructs john to write blessed are the dead who died in the lord from now on yes says the spirit they will rest from their labors for their deeds follow them so this is really in in relation to the work that god has started in us he will complete it you will complete it through our children that their deeds follow them so as we follow christ our children will follow us following christ amen amen!
Spiritual sight: The blind man’s healing shows that obedience and faith open eyes, while pride blinds hearts.

so in john 9 i believe that it's really natural for humans to put the blame on something that is wrong like they always try to find who's at fault here when jesus blind when jesus healed the blind man they ask was at fault is it the parents is it him but jesus clearly says that it's neither the parents or the person but it is for god's work to be glorified and magnified through the blind man that he healed because he jesus said i must work the works of him who sent me while it is day the night is coming with no one can work as long as i am named the world i am the light of the world so god who is in us will light the world through us as we continue to just focus our eyes on him we reflect his glory his beauty his life and therefore we really need to to do our part to do the works of him who sent us amen.
Praise and deliverance: Psalms declare that God lifts the poor and rescues His people — He is both tender and mighty.

so in psalms 113 all we will do when god fulfills his promises to as an even now as we wait on him we will praise the lord or we are servants of the lord we praise the lord we bless the name of the lord for this time fourth and forevermore from the rising of the sun to its going down the lord's name is to be praised amen he is high above all nations is glory above the heavens who is like the lord our god who dwells on high who humbles himself to behold the things that are in the heavens and in the earth to behold he wants to experience what he created in heaven and earth he raises the poor out of the dust and leaves the needy out of the ash heat that he may sit him with princess with the princess of his people he grants the barren woman a home like a joyful mother of children praise the lord this is really my son you know because when verse seven says here he raises the poor out of the dust i am that poor woman love i maybe a daughter of rich parents but i never felt i was rich i always had this mentality i have to work hard just to be able to take care of myself because i cannot put my trust in my family you know i cannot put my trust in wealth in financial stability no only stability i know is jesus and this is the reason why that i have waited this long this loan to finally receive the promise of god for my life for he is raising the poor out of the dust and lifts the needy out of the ash hate wow the team visit him with princess with the princess of his people wow that's us love he we will be seated we will be seated with the princess wow on the prince and the royalty and he grants the barren woman a home wow that's really me that's really me for i have been buried all this time all this time got i was buried but god is changing that because he will make me a joyful mother of children in a devoted wife to you and i'm so grateful i'm so grateful oh god i'm so grateful that he has chosen me he is chosen you he has chosen us an inverse in in chapter 114 verse for the mountain skip like rams the little heels like lambs because god is going to flatten the mountains ride the mountain of difficulty he is making that a straight path what else you oc that you fled or jordan that you turn back because god is going to split the split the seas once again for us okay the earth will tremble at the presence of the lord within us at the presence of the god of jacob who turned the rock into a pool of water the flint into a fountain of waters wow yet to study this is there is a revelation waiting in this verse.
Contentment in love: Proverbs teach that joy and love outweigh wealth; a heart at peace is richer than gold.
